The Buried Life

The timing of this show couldn't be better given the economy and general mood of our nation right now. It's funny how a simple question like "What do you want to do before you die?" can put things into perspective and helps us consider what's really important in life. I'm looking forward to adding The Buried Life to my list of shows.

The series premieres on MTV January 18 at 10PM ET/PT.

Acapella is the official first single from Kelis' upcoming album, also titled Acapella.  I can't wait to hear this song in a club or on Fire Island next summer!

HEATHER SMALL -> "PROUD"

Since last weeks Biggest Loser finale I've been going through some minor withdrawals.  Pining for more, I finally investigated the singer of the shows theme song "Proud" (many think its Cher) and come to find out its Heather Small.

Turns out the Queen herself Oprah chose the song to sum up the work she'd been striving to achieve over her twenty-year career (a few years ago).  If its good enough for the big O then its good enough for me.  The song was also featured on the Queer as Folk soundtrack as well.  Hope you enjoy!

LADY GAGA -> "CHRISTMAS TREE"

Last night while I was looking through Christmas music I came across "Christmas Tree" by Lady GaGa. It was the first time I heard it so I thought that might be the case for many of you as well. While not quite as catchy as "Bad Romance" it definitely has the potential to get stuck in your head. Happy Holidays... I hope you enjoy!

So far what I am watching is positive. Marriage equality has nothing to do with religious views or opinions, its about granting equal rights for all citizens of our country.

TONI BRAXTON -> "YESTERDAY" VIDEO

Today Wendy Williams premiered my girl Toni Braxton's new video for "Yesterday." Toni called in to the show and you know Wendy got the full scoop. Toni set the record straight and revealed that she is separated from her husband but they still get along for the sake of their children. She also said there is nothing romantic going on between her and Trey Songz (despite the rumors after their Soul Train Music Awards kiss).

On another note, I apologize for being missing in action the past week. I was home visiting my family in Washington State and took a break from posting. I promise some very exciting things are coming soon... including; Candis Cayne's NYC performance, Halloween adventures, movie and music reviews as well as my new favorite hangout spot.

As usual Gaga doesn't disappoint with her latest music video for "Bad Romance." The beginning almost reminds me of a modern day "Thriller."
