ASCENSION BEACH PARTY 2009 featuring KELLY ROWLAND
We woke up this morning and decided to follow through with our plan to ascend day trip to the beach.
While buying our tickets at Penn Station we ran into Itay Hod our friend from CBS News/Logo. He just got back from covering the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock. I had to capture this moment with my two faves from Logo.
First stop was at our friend Will's to drop off our bags and tennis racquets. I love his new banner for his site akawilliam.com He has a lot of great content and is one of my daily reads so be sure to check out his site.
DJ Xavier and DJ Vito fun, two of my favorite DJ's were there. They DJ'd some of the other 18 parties over the weekend.
Our friend Boris the bartender made all the difference!
We ran into Corey right before Kelly's performance so we knew we were in a good spot to watch it. She only performed two songs which was a little bit of a let down. I mean she did travel two hours to get there! We were hoping to hear "Work." Regardless she looked fantastic and really sounded good too. Here she is, enjoy;
Spotted: Zoe and Ricky! Xoxo
Just me and a few of my dearest friends...
After a quick dip in the ocean we had to descend back to the ferry and head home. All in all it turned out to be a great day trip. Next stop Rome!

That is a great deal! Thanks for the tip Marcus. As someone who just moved to the ny getting tips like this helps lots on exploring the city.
There are Basketball and Football leagues? Really? You mean there's life outside Softball? Who would have thought, and why isn't this more widely known?
Thanks for the info :)
